The opportunity As a Planning & Project Controls Manager you will report to the E&U Planning & Project Controls Director; support the Energy & Utilities business to transition the operational Lines of Business to best practice methodology and execution for capital works planning and project controls to assist continual uplift in project performance. This is a full-time permanent role and will be based out of our North Ryde office in Sydney with flexible/hybrid working. You will also be required to travel to site when required. What you’ll do: Lead a team of Planning & Project Controls professionals to deliver the Planning & Project Controls capability and support services on all nominated execution phase (live) capital projects and tenders for the nominated Line of Business, ensuring timely, accurate and transparent outputs in accordance with The Downer Standard (TDS) and relevant E&U Standards, Policies and Processes. You will be responsible for ensuring governance, assurance and capability of the planning and project control functional resources using P6 and InEight, respectively.
