Job Title: Certified Nurse Aide Department: Location: Hours Per Week: Schedule: SUMMARY: he nurse aid works under the direct supervision of licensed nursing staff to provide direct patient care in accordance with established hospital policies, procedures and protocols. Unit/Department Specific Info> RESPONSIBILITIES: - Performs and documents direct comprehensive, family and patient centered care under the direct supervision of licensed nursing staff. - Provides world class customer service to patients and families. - Reports patient conditions directly to licensed nursing staff to achieve positive patient outcomes. - Maintains a safe and clean patient and family centered environment. - Required to float to other clinics and hospital departments as needed. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - High School Diploma or equivalent - New York State Nurse Aide Certification within 3 months of hire or completion of a Nursing 101 course at an accredited nursing school program within 3 months of hire UNION: 1199 - SEIU (GH) Note: Not all per diem roles are union eligible EDUCATION: - None.
