Description The Department of Psychology at the University of New Haven invites applications for a full-time, tenure track, Assistant Professor position in Counselor Education & Supervision beginning January 2021. We are seeking applicants with expertise in Counselor Education & Supervision to teach masters-level counseling courses (e.g., counseling theories, counseling skills, multicultural counseling competencies). A PhD in Counselor Education & Supervision is required (ABDs very close to completion will be considered); degrees from CACREP accredited programs are preferred. Research specialization is open. The successful candidate must be a dynamic instructor, able to teach courses within Counseling or Counselor Education & Supervision and in our undergraduate offerings. They will also have to be able to provide supervision of counseling students. We are a diverse and collaborative department that encourages the development of new and engaging courses that emphasize experiential education.
