General Summary: The Electrical Engineering Intern will support the maintenance, engineering, and operations teams in improving mill reliability, electrical safety and equipment performance. This internship provides hands-on experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, working with power distribution systems, process controls and mill automation. Education and/or Experience: Must be currently enrolled as a student in an accredited undergraduate or graduate academic program in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field and have completed one year of study. Salary Compensation: $20/hr. Schedule: 8 or 10 hour “day” Monday-Friday Position Details: - Assist engineers and technicians with troubleshooting electrical equipment such as motors, drives, MCCs, PLCs, transformers and switchgear. - Participate in preventative and predictive maintenance tasks, including inspections and vibration analysis. - Support the development and updating of electrical single-line diagrams, equipment lists and wiring schematics. - Assist with upgrades to process control equipment, instrumentation and automation systems. - Collect field data, perform equipment testi...
