Principal Local Engineer Permanent: Grade D - £45,091 – £53,460 Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review Working 36.5 hours per week: Do you have experience in highway design and are looking to make a tangible impact on local infrastructure and community safety? We are seeking a highly motivated Principal Local Engineer to join our team and play a key role in delivering highway-related services. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and maintenance of essential infrastructure that supports our communities in the UK’s largest local authority as part of Local Engineering Team within Highways. This team provides a frontline local link for the provision of Highway services and specific advice on most highway-related matters to local residents, Councillors, MPs, businesses, community forums/groups, emergency services, transport operators, neighbouring local authorities, developers and many other internal and external stakeholders.
