Job description

Manufacturing Rework Specialist Job Summary: The Manufacturing Rework Specialist is responsible for diagnosing, reworking, and improving composite and electromechanical assemblies to meet engineering and quality requirements while supporting production deliverables. This hands-on role ensures materials, tools, and equipment are available and partners with Production Leads, Supervisors, Engineering, and the MRB team to identify root causes, interpret NCRs, and implement corrective actions. The position performs rework on complex assemblies, assists with prototype builds and test equipment setup, creates and updates NCRs, and contributes to build documentation and work instructions. The Manufacturing Rework Specialist monitors quality metrics, escalates process or quality issues, supports continuous improvement, and ensures compliance with ISO 9001/AS9100 standards while promoting a safety-first culture.
