Electrical Maintenance Intern

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities: - Assists in the maintenance of all electrical systems according to NEC standards - Assists in the troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing of systems and equipment in the plant according to government standards - Reads mechanical and electrical blueprints - Performs basic electrical construction tasks - Identifies machine parts and project materials needed to complete work - Documents daily work in log book - Other duties, as assigned Education and Experience Required: - Successful completion of at least 2 semesters of an accredited Industrial Electrical Associates Degree program Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills: Physical Requirements: Qualified candidates must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation: - Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills - Must have experience with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT) - Must be able to deal with multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment - Must be able to sit and stoop for 3+ hours per shift - Must be able to climb on and off a ladder for 3+ hours per shift - Must be able to work in a d...
