Job Description: Fairfield University School of Education and Human Development (SEHD) Counselor Education Department is excited to invite applications for a full-time Assistant/Associate Professor of Practice (non-tenure track) position, beginning Fall 2026 pending budgetary approval. The Department offers two counseling tracks, School Counseling (SC) and Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) at the master’s level, which are accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). The Position: The successful candidate will typically teach 4+4, advise students, and participate in professional service at the school, university, state, regional, and national levels. Faculty in these programs teach face-to-face. In addition, candidates must demonstrate professional identity in counseling/counselor education through some of the following activities: (a) sustained memberships in professional counseling organizations (e.g., ACA, ACES, CSI, AMHCA, etc.), (b) relevant professional counseling credentials (e.g., licensed professional counselor, licensed professional counselor-supervisor, licensed chemical dependency counselor, certified school...
