Description The School of Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) is hiring two Student Assistants (1 undergraduate and 1 graduate student) to serve as support to the front office reception desk . Student Assistants will provide general front office reception support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. This position will be responsible for handling front office reception and administrative duties, including greeting guests, answering phones, and making referrals. This position will serve as a resource for undergraduate and graduate students, staff and faculty in the School of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Note: The Graduate Student Assistant will be assigned additional projects with the Office of Graduate Studies. Responsibilities include: Monitoring uwbstem/stemgrad email boxes and responding to varied inquiries Answering front desk phone for School of STEM and Office of Graduate Studies, referring callers to appropriate resources Answering general questions regarding the School of STEM Graduate Program offerings and/or directing to appropriate resource Checking copier daily.
