Group Lead for the Construction and Field Support Section - Bridge Division - ( 2600686 ) Position Information TxDOT’s Bridge Division is looking to hire a Group Lead for the Construction and Field Support Section of the Construction and Maintenance Branch. The Construction and Maintenance Branch provides bridge construction guidance, performs structural analyses and designs solutions for bridge repair/rehabilitation, and trains districts to perform bridge repairs with in-house personnel. This employee will lead a group of engineers and construction inspectors in providing construction and field related support for bridge projects across the state. This employee will be based in Austin, TX but is expected to travel statewide as job duties require. Texas’ inventory of over 57,000 bridges is 28,000 more than any other state, and more than the combined inventories of 17 states.
