Overview Leons Furniture is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst Job Summary: The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the preparation, analysis, and delivery of accurate and timely financial statements and related disclosures for Leon’s retail operations. This role ensures compliance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS), supports audit requirements, and contributes to the continuous improvement of financial reporting processes and internal controls. As a key member of the Finance team, the Senior Financial Analyst partners closely with the Controller, FP&A, and operational leaders to provide insightful financial analysis, maintain data integrity, and support business decision-making in a fast-paced, multi-location retail environment. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Financial Reporting & Close Process: - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules. - Execute key components of the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. - Prepare and post journal entries and perform account reconciliations. - Ensure adherence to applicable accounting standards (IFRS).
