Methodist Hospital is looking to hire a Perianesthesia/PACU RN to join our Perianesthesia team! Position Summary: The RN – Perianesthesia/PACU position manages the episode of patient care in partnership with persons, care givers, groups and other providers to reach a shared goal of delivering safe, quality health care. This patient care may be through direct care by the RN, or it may be through coordinating and supervising patient care delegated to, Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel. This position is to work throughout Perianesthesia Department, to include Pre-Procedure Assessment, Pre-op, Phase I, Phase II, and Extended Recovery. - Breaks are important to our team - Lactation room in department - Regular team recognition events - Workgroups/Interdisciplinary Collaboration - Monthly educational offerings - Yearly bonus for certification - Nursing Grand Rounds Work Schedule: - 0.6 FTE, Day/Evening, 8-hour shifts. - Working weekends up to every other based on unit needs and holiday rotation based on unit needs. - Th...
