Beverage General Manager

Job description

It is the primary responsibility of the Beverage General Manager to maintain the high standards of the property and support the objectives of the Food and Beverage Division, including supervising the Beverage department to ensure proper service to customers. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures. Specific Job Functions: - Assist in administration and planning for the Beverage Department to ensure the bars are current in product, pricing, service and image - Initiate training of supervisors and hourly staff designed to provide the highest levels of proficiency, efficiency, and confidence in the delivery of service to guests - Establish operating policies and staff schedules for the operation of all bars and Casino Cocktail Servers in order to achieve maximum service at desired profit levels - Describe, assign and delegate authority clearly and responsibility for the operation of the Bars and Casino Cocktail Servers under his/her supervision. - Conduct weekly communications meetings, utilizing key reports, to ensure all staff are aware of goals, objectives and activities within the property and department - Mai...
