Patient Transport Driver - CMC - Pack - ( 2601201 ) Description The mission of Correctional Managed Care is to address the healthcare needs of underserved patient populations within the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) and the Texas Juvenile Justice Department (TJJD). JOB SUMMARY: Operates vehicles for patient transport within a correctional healthcare setting in a safe manner. Provides routine inspection and maintenance of vehicles. Provides diversified administrative, clerical, and technical assistance/service within the correctional healthcare setting. EQUIPMENT: Standard hospital, clinical, and office environments in both a correctional and free world setting. Standard office equipment. Operation of 5,897 lb Patient Transport Driving vehicle with a maximum patient load of six (6) and a 7,250 lb Multiple Patient Vehicle with a maximum patient load of ten (10). Operates vehicles under adverse weather conditions and emergency driving situations.
