Job description

TITLE: Packer POSITION OBJECTIVE: Packages and inspects materials and products. QUALIFICATIONS: - Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables - Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary. - Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions. - High school diploma or equivalent, no prior experience or training JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Performs highly repetitive trimming, flaming, assembly, inspection, counting, and packaging of injection and/or blow molded components and parts - Visually inspects product for defects as defined in the QAS (Quality Assurance Standard) - Counts parts and individual packages within cases either by stack height or weight as required - Ensures that cases are labeled correctly, in the proper sequence, stamped with an operator/packer stamp, and stacks cases on pallets - Performs secondary operations as required - Reworks/sorts defective product as necessar...
