About the Role: Anthropic’s Consumer Products team is hiring a Senior Staff Software Engineer to serve as the technical lead for Claude’s core chat experience on mobile — the surface where most people meet Claude for the first time. You’ll own the technical direction for our iOS and Android apps and shape how the chat interface evolves across mobile and web, working closely with product, design, and partner teams to deliver the most compelling way to talk to an AI. This is a deeply hands-on staff+ role. You’ll write code, set architectural direction, and make the hardest technical calls — but the real measure of success is influence: building the credibility and partnerships that let a growing organization move together.
