Job description

The Athletics Department seeks to hire Temporary Athletic Facility Monitors to oversee facility operations within the Freeman Athletic Center Fitness Center. Responsibilities include: This is an on-campus position. - Monitor the front and fitness center entrance to ensure Wesleyan IDs are scanned for access to the facility. - Greet visitors and provide directions as needed. - Assist department staff in adjusting facility equipment such as basketball hoops, curtains and batting cages when requested. - Maintain cleanliness in the fitness center by organizing weights and equipment regularly. - Alert public safety and athletics staff of any issues that occur within the facility. - Other duties as assigned. Schedule & Availability: Monitors are assigned shifts Mondays-Fridays from 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM. Shifts times may vary depending on changes in the building schedule during university breaks, holidays and exam calendars.
