Job Summary The Electrical Design Engineer will develop electrical design HDLC units such as In row CDU and In rack CDU as well as 2 phase products. He/she will closely follow objectives of quality, environment and costs working in cooperation with manufacturing engineering, controls engineering, procurement, suppliers, mechanical engineering, and product marketing. The Electrical Engineer will contribute to the release of new products; will work in a cross-functional development group; manage a variety of tasks and activities in a dynamic environment; and solve complex problems where no precedence exists. This position will be based onsite at Vertiv's Ironton, OH location (3040 S 9th St., Ironton, OH 45638). Responsibilities: Requirements: - Design new and low voltage electrical enclosures (>240 volts AC). - Harness Design, schematic creation and 3D modeling of wiring and cabling inside equipment. - Experience with CREO Cabling module is preferred. - Capable of understanding and applying various standards of NEC (NFPA70), CSA/UL, and IEEE to do a proper selection of electrical components that meet agencies requirements. - Collaboration across the disciplines of mechanical engineer...
