We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Islington to assist with the appointment of a Carpenter , on a 3-month contract , likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration. Rate of Pay: £21.14 - £28.28 per hour Summary: An opportunity has arisen for a skilled Carpenter to join the Housing Property Services team. The role involves delivering high-quality carpentry repairs and maintenance across tenanted and void properties, ensuring homes are safe, well-maintained, and meet excellent customer service standards. Responsibilities: Qualifications: - Carry out carpentry repairs and associated trade works to domestic properties - Complete responsive, planned, empty homes and capital repairs - Plan and organise workload to meet service targets and appointments - Use PDA/mobile systems to record work completed and materials used - Maintain tools, equipment and company vehicle responsibly - Recognised C&G Apprenticeship in Carpentry – NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent experience) - Multi-skills training to minimum NVQ Level 3 or willingness to undertake training Essential Requirements: - Proven experience delivering high-quality carpen...
