Description GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Field Engineer II ensures that all projects run smoothly, from inspecting and installing equipment and new technologies to directing crews on-site. They also conduct their own research on their projects and report on the project status. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Monitor project & operational activities at the assigned site to ensure that operations run smoothly and efficiently. - Inspect network and site equipment and technologies for a project. - Resolve onsite networking & equipment malfunctions. - Assist in the preparation of new sites for projects. - Communicate with clients to determine needs and explain complex issues. - Conduct networking & RF research and studies on-site. - Manage field activities and implement engineering designs. - Diagnose construction or machinery problems. - Oversee networking & site repairs and technical improvements as assigned. - Install and configure networking & RF equipment as assigned - Inspect material and test machinery for safety. - Ensure proper maintenance of on-site equipment. - Coordinate with other employees to maintain company equipment. - Follow all safety requirements. - Supervise an...
