Building Location: St Marys Hospital - Detroit Lakes Department: 1006160 REGISTRATION - EH SS Job Description: This position will be responsible to cover in the outreach locations including Mahnomen, Lake Park, Pelican Rapids, and Frazee. This position greets customers and facilitates the patient registration process in a timely, professional, and courteous manner. Interviews and obtains demographic and financial information from patients or their representatives through face-to-face and virtual interactions to provide Essentia Health with the documents and data necessary to ensure appropriate care and compliant, accurate patient registration and billing. This position serves as liaisons between patients and clinical staff to ensure care in a timely fashion. They must be able to complete patient registration, verify patient insurance information, and obtain the proper consents for the patient to be seen/treated in the Emergency Department.
