Job description

Shift: Monday-Friday- 6:00-2:30pm POSITION SUMMARY: Maintenance Technician 2 will be responsible for building maintenance and a range of basic repairs. This includes but is not limited to troubleshooting and maintaining small tools and equipment. CORE FUNCTIONS: - Utilize advanced knowledge as required in diagnosing and repairing our more complex machines. This may include electrical/PLC, mechanical, welding, machining, hydraulics/pneumatics, and conveyor systems. - Safely execute lockout and tagout procedures in compliance with safety regulations to prevent accidental equipment startup during maintenance activities. - Collaborate with engineering to resolve maintenance issues, improve equipment reliability, review procedures, and minimize equipment downtime through data-driven analysis. - Manage the CMMS system, creating work orders, uploading documentation, and updating parts. - Assist with inventory, cataloging parts inventory, and ordering replacement parts and shop supplies. - Mentor maintenance technician I employees on equipment and advanced manufacturing systems. - Rebuild machines, tools and heavy equipment & create special tools to assist with production (SH edit).
