Responsibilities & Qualifications RESPONSIBILITIES: The Systems Administrator, Labs is expected to be able to accomplish the following: - Monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency. - Performs systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts. - Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software, and allocating mass storage space. Interact with users and evaluate vendor products. - Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. - Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. - May be assigned responsibility for less experienced staff. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Active TS/SCI + CI Poly clearance - BS, 8-10 years of relevant experience; MS, 6-8 years; PhD, 3-5 years - One of the following DoD 8570/CS-NET-451 certifications: - Security+ - SSCP - CySA+ - GSEC DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - RHCSA / RHCE - Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator -...
