Position Title LIS Analyst Southlake Campus: Position Summary / Career Interest: The Laboratory Information System Analyst is responsible for the overall health through maintenance and change management, of the software operating and contributing to the Laboratory Information System infrastructure. Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions: - Instructs, orients and mentors students, employees, residents and physicians for information system applications. - Must be able to demonstrate participation and involvement in the implementation of system upgrades, enhancements and new acquisitions of laboratory information systems. - This includes but is not limited to design, installation, validation & regression testing, training, documentation and migration. - Maintains industry knowledge for all regulations applicable to the laboratory information systems. - Contributes to inspection readiness and participates in the preparations leading up to an inspection. - Follows regulatory, accreditation, safety and hospital standards, policies and procedures. - Assists in the management of billing, the reconciliation of billing issues, report generation, and billing interface viability. - Utili...
