Job description

BHE GT&S has an exciting opportunity as an Engineer I/II/Sr/Sr II at our General Office building located in Bridgeport, WV. - Lead planning, design, procurement, and construction activities for pipeline, compression, and civil/structural projects across the BHE GT&S system. - Provide technical oversight, engineering reviews, and support throughout all project phases. - Perform civil and structural evaluations, including concrete design verification, bridge and pipe bridge analysis, geotechnical assessments, critical lifts and review of field‑prepared designs. - Manage mitigation and remediation projects such as landslides, pipe exposures, and building installations. - Prepare engineering specifications, drawings, cost estimates, and reports; conduct studies and investigations. - Develop and maintain SOPs, review specifications, and provide recommendations for repairs and assessments of existing structures. - Deliver engineering assistance to internal teams, including training for engineers. - Provide PE sign‑off for applicable intrastate projects. - Track and forecast project budgets and support continuous improvement initiatives.
