Title: Billing Specialist Location: Upper East Side: Org Unit: Integrative Health: Work Days: Monday-Friday: Weekly Hours: 35.00: Exemption Status: Non-Exempt: Salary Range: $29.15 - $32.91: *As required under NYC Human Rights Law Int 1208-2018 - Salary range for this role when Hired for NYC Offices Position Summary: Assists with planning, directing and implementing the department's charge entry process through resolute and physician organization system applications. Ensures the timely and complete entry of all billable charges for the department. Job Responsibilities: - Monitors charge entry billing activities. Utilizes automated reports to monitor performance including service to posting reports, missing charge reports, Resolute charge review and other charge rules and the overall utilization of EMR systems. - Monitors and identifies issues with volume of charges entered daily; troubleshoots and resolves identified issues. Achieves the PO benchmark for service to posting delays. - Recommends process improvements to address delayed or error prone charge entry via the billing interface which may impact account receivables and net collections. - Responsible for managing the departme...
