Department Overview The OHSU-PSU School of Public Health (SPH) is aligned with the American Public Health Association in declaring racism a public health crisis, and our School is committed to becoming an antiracist SPH. Function/Duties of Position: - This position supports an ongoing environmental health research grant as part of the Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership Ecosystem Monitoring Program to collect and analyze water quality and biological samples to track habitat conditions of intertidal marshes in the Lower Columbia River - The successful applicant will assist with preparation for field work, sample collection and preservation during field work, and sample processing in the laboratory. Additional duties include: - 1) deployment and maintenance of water quality sensors, - 2) Laboratory sample processing and analysis, and - 3) Data entry, data management, and data analysis.
