Overview Darkblade Systems, a CIS Secure company, has an opportunity for a Technical Writer II supporting a new program located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. Responsibilities: - Collect and organize information for preparation of user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports. - Edit functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, special reports, or any other customer deliverables and documents. TRAVEL: - This position anticipates standard work hours, Monday-Friday. - Limited or minimal travel expected. CLEARANCE: EDUCATION: - Active Top Secret / SCI clearance required. - Potential to upgrade Secret clearance. - Associates of Arts or Science OR two-year technical school degree + minimum of 5 years relevant experience OR - High school diploma / GED plus 12 years experience SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: - Experience with collecting and organizing information for preparation of user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports. - Minimum of 5 years relevant graphics support experience, or military experience E4 and up.
