This Opportunity WSP is currently initiating a search for a full-time Early Career Transit and Rail Engineer ! This position is open to our Chicago, IL office. Be involved in projects with our National Transit & Rail Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges. Takes part in providing local technical assistance for the design, development, and construction of transit and rail infrastructure projects and systems in the public and private sector. Tasks may include basic assistance with the research, design, concept development, and construction of rail and transit facilities, track systems and alignment geometry, grade crossings, bus rapid transit, tunnels, bridges, utility relocation, drainage, earthworks, grading, information modeling, loading, maintenance of equipment (MOE) and maintenance of way (MOW) yards, and power substations and cabling. Generates accurate and concise documentation regarding assigned aspects of the project.
