Plant Quality Engineer

Job description

The Plant Quality Engineer (PQE) - Responsible for all aspects of product conformity for their systems / Components at the Warrent Truck Assembly Plant. The PQE reports directly to the PQE Lead and will build effective relationships with both salaried and hourly, assembly plant/corporate personnel, in order to complete projects within their area of responsibility. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Validating product changes, providing technical expertise, and improving outgoing quality that will meet or exceed our customers’ expectations. - With unquestioned integrity and strength of conviction, the PQE responds to manufacturing quality issues and manages all product changes. - Through the usage of advanced problem-solving methods and SPW kaizen methodology, the PQE supports all continuous quality improvement initiatives within the plant. - PQE must work collaboratively with cross-functional manufacturing teams and facilitates consensus and drive action from the main stakeholders. - Support external quality Key Performance Indicators (KPI) management for achieving targets, driving improvement/corrective actions and escalation - Review warranty/Customer Q...
