KEY DUTIES: Prepare sites for concrete work such as sidewalks, curbs, gutters and driveways; read and interpret engineering plans and grade sheets to determine the location of underground services and utilities; set up traffic control; act as padman to direct the operation of various construction and excavation equipment. Calculate grades and alignments established from grade sheets and control points; construct wooden forms; set metal pins and arms to control the alignment of the curb extruder.
