Description JOB TITLE: Mechanical Designer: REPORTS TO: Manager, Mechanical Engineering: JOB STATUS: Full Time: FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt: JOB SUMMARY: The Mechanical Designer will play a critical role in the design, and development of baggage handling systems and components. You will collaborate successfully with mostly engineering stakeholders including project engineers, principal engineers, and other engineering designers and design engineers to complete baggage handling projects successfully. You will focus on safe, high-quality output, on schedule and on budget. Our Mechanical Designer would be responsible in part for modeling the systems (or portions of the systems), based on customer specifications and as-sold information. You would understand the system and provide input when a more efficient design would be better suited. You will help create comprehensive, detailed installation and component level drawing packages per customer specifications and field installation team requirements.
