Position Overview: - Department: Cardiovascular ICU Stepdown - CVICU Stepdown - Schedule: Multiple Shifts Available - Full-Time Days, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm - Full-Time Nights, 7:00 pm - 7:00 am - Full-Time Weekend Days, Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm - Work Location: UAB St. Vincent's East - Benefits for eligible positions include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do: Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. - Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate. - Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. - Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. - Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
