Job Title: Underwriter - IV Location: Remote Georgia What you'll do: As a Mortgage Underwriter IV you'll be responsible for underwriting Jumbo and High-Net Worth loans by reviewing the credit, capacity and collateral characteristics of loan files to ensure it meets company and investor quality standards. You'll be responsible for reviewing and clearing underwriting conditions on Jumbo and High-Net Worth loans in compliance with current guidelines and overlays. - Manage individual pipeline on a daily basis by completing Jumbo and High-Net Worth loans, Non-Agency and complex Underwriting Reviews, Conditions Reviews and other Underwriting Tasks within established turn times. - Identify any document deficiencies, request additional information and/or documentation from Clients as needed. - Analyze complex income sources, including self-employed income, K-1s, and tax returns. - Evaluate credit reports, asset statements, and complex appraisals. - Ensure compliance with investor, federal, and internal guidelines. - Maintain awareness of regulatory changes and investor overlays. - Navigate and interpret all Agency, Non-Agency and company guidelines. - Assist other department personnel in i...
