Department: Keith Porter Imaging Facility Position Overview: The research assistant provides technical support for the core imaging facilities in the College of Natural and Mathematical Sciences (CNMS). Duties include providing assistance in training instrument users on a range of optical and electron microscopes, the execution of fee-for-service imaging projects and maintenance of instruments as well as administrative tasks. This position requires basic microscopy experience that demonstrates an interest and ability to learn a variety of microscopy techniques. This position will ensure that the imaging facilities are able to maintain their high standard of research support. Why Work at UMBC?: UMBC offers competitive compensation.
