Job Description Brooklyn Community Board 7 is one of 59 community boards that are independent City agencies that advise on land use, the city budget, municipal service delivery, and other matters on a geographically exclusive basis. Brooklyn Community Board primarily serves the neighborhoods of Sunset Park, Park Slope and Kensington. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The District Manager under the executive direction of the Community Board and board chair is responsible for expediting, monitoring, and evaluating the delivery of municipal services, land use, zoning issues, and budget management concerns within the community district and actively participates in the coordination of the delivery of these services. - Supervision and administration of the Board office and its staff; provides administrative support to the Board Chair and Committee Chairs - With the Board, set the long-term vision and short-term goals for the organization, conduct data analysis on constituent results and challenges, propose, organize, and identify and support mass community engagement strategies including but not limited to joining community events, organizing open houses, listening sessions, etc. - In partner...
