IMEG is hiring a Legal Intern in Rock Island, IL, to support the legal team on projects related to corporate law, contracts, compliance, and governance. In this role, you’ll contribute to legal projects while collaborating within the legal team and partnering with other departments across the business. Principal Responsibilities: - Assist General Counsel and legal team with claims, drafting and reviewing contracts, including service agreements, and corporate documents - Conduct legal research on issues related to corporate law, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation - Support legal aspects of corporate governance, including reviewing board and policy documentation - Help monitor developments in relevant legislation and assist in compliance planning - Participate in cross-functional meetings and observe the role of legal counsel in business decision-making - Maintain and organize legal records, ensuring proper documentation and confidentiality Required Qualifications and Skills: This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
