Job description

The Pharmacy Technician Hazardous Sterile Compounding is responsible for assisting Pharmacists in the preparation, dispensing, and distribution of compounded sterile preparations (CSPs) and non-sterile drug products. Under the direct supervision of a registered Pharmacist and following established standard operating procedures (SOPs) and USP guidelines, prepares sterile preparations (CSPs) including both hazardous and non-hazardous sterile preparations and non-sterile drug products in order to ensure medications are ready and available for administration to the patient. Maintains accurate records utilizing established policies and procedures. - Hazardous and non-Hazardous Sterile Compounding; Under the direct supervision of a registered Pharmacist and following established standard operating procedures (SOPs) and USP guidelines, prepares hazardous and non-Hazardous sterile drug products. - Prepares of all types of pharmaceuticals : hazardous and non-hazardous, controlled and non-controlled, with regards to sterile preparations - Maintain accurate records of products prepared according to established documentation guidelines. - Follows established procedures for appropriate document...
