Job Summary The Pharmacy Technician I assists the Pharmacist and other hospital staff in providing quality care to patients by applying knowledge and training of medication distribution. Reports to: Job Specific Responsibilities Daily assignments may include but are not limited to: - Accurately process medication orders and requests, gather and dispense medications - Deliver drugs to assigned units - Maintain daily pharmacy logs - Assist in inventory control, answer phones, and other assigned duties by the Pharmacist and/or Pharmacy Supervisor - All other assigned duties related to Pharmacy Compliance Education and Experience-: - High School Diploma or GED Required Licensures/Certifications/Registrations: - Registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician with the State of Texas Board of Pharmacy Skills and Abilities-: Interaction with Other Departments and Other Relationships Daily interaction with other staff within the Pharmacy department.
