Work Shift: Varies (United States of America) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Union Position: No Department Details: - Monday-Friday schedule with light call - 50% clinic/50% OR and rounding in hospital - 25-30 patients per day in clinic - Group include 3 Ortho Spine Surgeons, 1 Neurosurgeon, 2 Pain Physicians, 4 Full time APPs (1 NP, 1 PA) and part-time APP staff - Call is primary (MD also on call), covers spine and general ortho - Mostly call from home, rarely need to come into hospital, 45 minute response time - Hospital responsibilities of first assisting in surgery, post-op /inpatient rounds, emergency room patient evaluations and treatment - New grads are encouraged to apply, those with surgical experience is preferred - Must be eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the State of South Dakota and possess NCCPA or ANCC certification Summary: The...
