Job Description Materials Coordinator: Nanaimo: The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced and qualified Materials Coordinator. This position is responsible for purchasing a variety of goods and services within established limits and authority; ships; receives and records the movement of corporate goods and maintains inventories. The Role: As a Material Coordinator, you directly report to the Supply Chain Manager performing the following duties: What you bring to the team - Performing an inventory control function, utilizing a computerized inventory system, by monitoring, recording and maintaining inventory levels and resolving discrepancies; maintaining stock rotation; ensuring optimum usage of warehouse space; maintaining parts catalogues and technical reference manuals; and performing housekeeping duties - Shipping, receiving and recording the movement of goods by organizing, consolidating and co-ordinating transportation inbound and outbound; loading and unloading trucks; operating a range of motorized equipment for movement and storage of goods; picking, packing and marking orders as required; and maintaining record-keeping systems as appropriate - Process...
