Hiring Now Certified Nurse Assistant Inpatient FT, Days (3 - 12 Hour Shifts) Overall Responsibility: Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, RN, performs delegated tasks and procedures of patient care, involving the physical, psychological, social, emotional, safety and security needs of the patient according to the patient plan of care. Key tasks and responsibilities: Licensure and Certification: High school diploma or equivalent. Current Nurse Assistant certification in good standing within the State of Kansas. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required. Experience required: One-year CNA experience in an acute care facility or with acute care patients. Prefer orthopedic, neurological or critical care experience. Environmental and physical requirements: The employee works in a temperature-controlled environment. Employees should be able to lift up to 50 pounds using proper lifting technique several times during their shift. Job requires physical ability for long-term standing, occasional sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking, reaching with reaching above head and below waist.
