Senior Systems Administrator

Job description

NewGen Technologies is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join our IT team. This role will manage IT systems infrastructure, including servers, network equipment, and software applications, ensuring security and optimal performance. This role will also provide advanced technical support for cloud environments (AWS, Azure), device management (Microsoft Intune), software patch management, Apple Business Manager, Microsoft Defender, and email filtering systems. Work Location and Hybrid Schedule Expectations: Employees are expected to work in the Washington, D.C. office for this position. Hybrid work schedule of two full in-office days (Tuesday and Wednesday) per week, as well as the first Thursday of each month in our Washington, D.C. office. Responsibilities: Qualifications: Terms of Employment: Full-time; exempt. Bargaining Unit Status: This is a bargaining unit position. Compensation: Salary for this position ranges from $95,000 to $115,000 per year; pay is based on a number of factors including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience and internal pay equity.
