Location: Sentara Norfolk General Hospital – Vascular & Interventional Center (VIC) Department: Vascular & Interventional Center (VIC) Reports To: VIC Prep/Recovery Supervisor Position Summary: The Pre-Procedure Nurse (RN) within the Vascular & Interventional Center (VIC) is responsible for the safe and efficient preparation of patients undergoing Vascular & Neuro-Interventional & Interventional Radiology, Endoscopy, and Pulmonary at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. This role supports a high-volume, high-acuity procedural environment by ensuring patients are clinically optimized, educated, and prepared prior to procedures. The Pre-Procedure RN supports care across: Eight (8) Vascular & Interventional procedure rooms Five (5) GI and Pulmonary procedure rooms Additional Radiology procedural support services: The nurse must demonstrate strong assessment skills, adaptability, organization, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced multidisciplinary team.
