HGV Class 1 Driver - Nights

Job description

Location: Portbury Working hours: Monday - Friday Nights - No tramping. Average working hours around 50 hours per week. All hours worked over 39 hours each week are paid at time and a half. Basic hourly rate: £15.61 per hour, plus a night shift allowance of £55.00 per week. Paid weekly. At Lineage, helping to feed the world is more than a job – it’s a purpose we live every day. Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure the vehicle is legal and roadworthy at all times - all daily checks are completed, and any vehicle defects are reported. Ensure the correct goods have been loaded and are secure before moving the vehicle. Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in a timely manner and in accordance with the law (including drivers working time regulations). Double check deliveries with the customer whilst providing a polite and helpful experience. Obtain relevant signatures and paperwork before returning to your home depot.
