Purpose: Contributes to the overall success of the commercial bank’s CMHC program in Canada. Reporting to the Associate Director, ‘CMHC’ (Canada Mortgage & Housing Corporation), provide support and execution advice to bankers and clients and support the end-to-end process of CMHC-insured commercial mortgage solutions. You will support commercial bankers with commercial CMHC lending programs and provide guidance to the end-to-end execution of eligible transactions, including structuring, underwriting support, approvals, funding, reporting, audit compliance, and mortgage securitization. Accountabilities: Support to Commercial Bankers and Clients: - Support the Associate Director, CMHC, and Bankers whose clients are exploring CMHC products and programs. - Develop tools to support the Bank’s optimum path for solutions and service for CMHC related business, such as MLI Select, multi-unit standard rental, or ACLP construction financing. - Translate policy into clear, actionable structures. - Provide scenario-based guidance on eligibility, leverage, amortization, a...
