Group Finance Manager

We have a fantastic opportunity to work within the Octopus Energy Group Finance Team, with a presence in over 18 countries the role is diverse in its offering as the Group continues to grow. We are looking for a qualified accountant, reporting to our Group Finance Reporting Manager, offering great exposure to Group consolidation and the inner workings of an expanding global business. What you'll do: - Assist the Group Reporting Manager in the preparation of the Group consolidation for monthly reporting internally and to shareholders, including inter-company account reconciliation, IFRS adjustments and working alongside Strategic Finance as appropriate, - Provide accounting guidance to ensure compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS standards and support in the transition of subsidiaries to FRS101, - Assist in transformation and digitization, you will have the opportunity to work at the forefront of such projects carving out processes and controls in tandem with new technology, in the shape of ERP systems and consolidation tools, - Preparation, review and analysis of the monthly management accounts for the Group Company, including profit and loss reports and balance sheet schedules, providi...
