Nuclear Pharmacist - Radiology - ( 26001533 ) Description The University of Iowa Healthcare department of Radiology is seeking Nuclear Pharmacist to provide patient-oriented service that embodies the scientific knowledge and professional judgement required to improve and promote health through assurance of the safe and efficacious use of radioactive drugs for diagnosis and therapy. Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities: - Prepare and dispense radioactive drugs and devices in accordance with physician orders and in compliance with Federal and State regulations and Departmental policies - Perform appropriate quality control tests on radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with Federal and State regulations, professional practice standards, and Departmental policies. - P erform appropriate quality assurance tests on instruments and equipment in compliance with Federal and State regulations, professional practice standards, and Departmental policies. - Maintain records of all transactions, monitoring and test results, and other documentation in compliance with Federal and State regulations, professional practice standards and University and Departmental policies. - Maintain appropriate...
