Position Summary The RN Clinical Supervisor is responsible for maintaining clinical operations and safe delivery of patient care in the clinical area. Safe, efficient, and financially responsible measures should be maintained to assure patient care in accordance with best practice. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned. - Evaluates all aspects of the patient care delivery system, makes recommendations, and, in collaboration with the physicians, optimizes operations. - Monitors patient appointments, patient flow, and patient records. - Continually evaluates clinical flow and provides guidance and direction to facilitate patient care in an optimal timeline. - Supervises and is responsible for all staff for the appropriate delivery of care, medical and procedural skills, and appropriate documentation in the EHR. - Coaches and teaches staff in using correct medical technique per best practice and documents deviations/inappropriate technique and patient care delivery.
