Overview INTRODUCTION: The Electric Boat shipyard is experiencing a period of continued unprecedented growth of existing and recently acquired facilities for renovations and fit out of new buildings. Now is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team responsible for shaping the future of the shipyard. The Groton Facilities Engineering department is comprised of Engineers, Project Managers and Designers. We are seeking a seasoned civil / structural engineer to provide engineering of critical infrastructure and project management for the 110+ year old Groton shipyard and local sites. GENERAL: The candidate must be a motivated self-starter with an ability to work independently and seek guidance when needed. Candidate must establish a working relationship with facilities engineers, project managers, trade personnel, vendors, management, building officials and our Customer. Aptitude to read, understand and perform duties in compliance to the many EB procedures, policies and requirements are required.
